Today we went out in search of groceries for next week's meals. We went to Trader Joe's, The Anderson's and Costco. While at The Anderson's we decided we wanted to make our own pizza. I am sure you can find these items at other grocers but all of these came from Anderson's. We even branched out and got turkey pepperoni for a more macro friendly pizza.
Ingredients:
-Pizza Sauce
-Crust
-turkey pepperoni
-Shredded cheese
-Banana peppers
-olive oil
-pizza seasoning
Steps:
-Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees F
-In a small bowl combine olive oil and spices (I am not good about measuring) enough to brush over the crust
-spread the pizza sauce
-cover in cheese
-add toppings!
-Once the over it prepped, turn it down to 425 degrees and place the pizza on the middle rack
-Cook for 12 minutes
-I like a little crispiness so I turned the broil on and let it cook there for 5 more mins.
-cool a bit and eat! This made 8 slices
