Looking for a healthy and easy recipe for dinner? I am not one for meatballs but I was getting bored with my regular recipes, I decided to take a risk!
I found this base of this recipe on Pinterest, but I made my own substitutions and halved the recipe.
Recipe this is based off of:
To make my ground turkey meatballs you’ll need:
1 lb ground turkey
TBSP fresh minced garlic
handful of chopped fresh basil
TSP oregano
1 large egg
1/4 cup Bread crumbs
1 TBSP Parmesan cheese
salt + pepper to taste
-Preheat oven to 375F
-Mix all ingredients in a bowl, by hand. This really isn't something I enjoyed but it was the best way to incorporate all the ingredients.
-Once combined form into roughly 1TSP sized balls and add to a greased sheet.
-Pop them in the oven for 20 minutes or when the middle of the meatballs are at 165F.
-Remove and add sauce or eat plain!
ENJOY!
