Every Sunday I prep for the week, you can go to my previous post from yesterday to see some of the things that I used for my meal prep this week.
It usually takes me about an hour and a half and it's worth it not to have to think about what we are going to eat or cook for the week. I make lunches and dinners. Breakfast is usually protein shakes, fruits and bagels.
Meals for the week:
-Pesto chicken breast, protein/fiber pasta, & broccoli
-Chicken Breast, peas & carrots, Carolina rice with Tikka Marsala sauce
-Chicken Breast with peas and broccoli, Carolina rice in a Chinese sauce
-Ground beef with bell peppers, black beans and guac
I also have asparagus to sauté up during the week, I have found that re-heating asparagus is not the greatest so since it cooks quickly I don't mind whipping it up some nights.
Everything is measured using my electronic scale (cheap from Amazon) and put into its own personal containers (also cheap from amazon). The absolute definition of grab and go!
