This past week my fiancé turned 30 and since we now have a house I decided to throw a small party. I catered City BBQ, made spiked apple cider and chilled lemonade. There was a cheese plate, because what party is complete without one and pumpkin candles burning while college football played in the background.

As much as everyone is ready to welcome the fall season, it was still 80+ degrees and humid beyond relief! I will say the party went great and we have a decent amount of yummy BBQ left for the week!

This week I will also be reorganizing and cleansing my closet. I will be bringing you some of my early fall favorites so that once it finally does roll around, you are ready for sweater weather!

Scroll through to see the recipe for the spiked apple cider! enjoy in your favorite mug!
