In October I started a new journey in my health journey. I decided to start really tracking my macros and began If It Fits Your Macro (IIFYM) and flexible dieting routine. I was eating 140P, 165C, 55F and weighed 169lbs. I worked with a coach and each week we increased my carb and fat intake little by little. I was eating more each week and losing a little weight until I eventually maintained at 164lbs for about 2 months.
During my reverse diet I got up to eating 140P, 345C,90F and weighed 165lbs. I stayed there for a few weeks and just this week I began my cut!
Currently I have 2 high carb days and 5 lower carb days and my fats have also been reduced and stay consistent throughout the week. My goal is to lose about 10-15 pounds, mostly all body fat and reveal all the gains I have made over the course of the winter.
I will try and update this more often with my progress. Through flexible dieting I have been able to really enjoy myself and allow myself the ability to improve my fitness level without the stigma and stress of true dieting.
