We toured our second venue location this past Friday, Red Brick Occasions.
This was located on Main St in the heart of downtown Columbus OH.
The interior was exposed brick (if you're already sensing a theme you would be correct) and industrial elements exposed on the ceiling. There was a elegant front seating area with a fireplace and mantel that would be a cute set up for the bar. There were also assorted antique mirrors on one of the back brick walls for a cute chic touch.
Overall pros and cons:
PROS:
-ceremony and reception in one location
-close proximity to hotels and other night life for after hours
-bring your own alcohol
-choice of catering or in hour with discount
-BRICK!
CONS:
-no free parking option
-no bridal/groom suites
I am still not sure how important the bridal suites are but we have 3 more venues lined up next week! I feel once we have our venue we can pick our date and I can relax a little bit for a while!
