Wedding Prep: Floral Hoops

I am not a fan of holding things, nor am I a fan of spending an excess amount of money for something that dies so quickly, flowers. When I started thinking about what I wanted to have as my bouquet for the wedding I found that the floral hoop was my kind of bouquet! Not only can it be reused/regifted, it last forever and gave a unique touch to my wedding.

The construction of them was simple!

Items you need:

-faux flowers and greenery

-floral tape

-hot glue gun

-hoops: I found mine on Amazon, but they do sell hoops at Micheals in the floral section as well.

-ribbon, optional

You start with your base of greens and attach them with the floral tape to the hoop, you can then start filling in the greens with the flowers using hot glue or tape if the stems are still attached. Once you have the fullness you are going for, you can wrap the ribbons around.

The other great thing about going faux is that you can make them ahead of time, you don't have to cram everything into the week of. I was lucky that one of my bridesmaids was also super crafty, so we knocked them out together! If there is one thing I learned from wedding prep is that, you should utilize your gals strengths to help you pull it off!

I decided to make everyone different because my bridesmaids were all wearing their own unique outfits within the color palate. I am so very happy how it turned out! I love how i will have it forever and can use it to decorate in my house. It was so easy that I am going to most likely make more to add to my upcoming Etsy shop!
