While in Boston for work we had the luxury of staying at the Lenox hotel. It was just that, luxury! As you walk thru the spinning doorway you step into an ornate foyer and are met with the most wonderful and very overpowering scent of flowers. The desk staff is courteous and check in was quick.
My room was small but the bed was a king. It was also stocked with pillows and the mattress was amazingly comfortable for a hotel. The bathroom had a beautiful walk in shower with great water pressure. There are no shower caps in the room but you can call down for one if you need one.
They offer a turn down service and leave you delicious chocolates and caramels. You have a mini fridge equipt with 2 free bottles of water! There is not a coffee maker in the room but free coffee and hot water is in the lobby each morning.
There are three bar/food areas connected to the hotel which is great! The hotel itself is centrally located to shops and restaurants on Newbury street.
My stay there was amazing and I look forward to going back. Although nightly rates are pricey, if you want to treat yourself this is a great place to do so!
